/S Sunlight Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. is a firm providing turnkey project & consultancy in the field of water conservation activities. The firm was formed in the year 1999 to provide consultancy for Rain Water Harvesting in Mumbai and has grown over the years to carry out the turnkey projects all over Maharashtra.
Global warming has a major effect on the rainfall all over the world and the demand for water is ever increasing.
As per the data from Mumbai Corporation as of 2003, the supply of water was 2700 MLD (Million Liters per Day) while the demand was 4100 MLD which shows a clear shortfall of 1400 MLD. The projected demand up to 2021 would be 5400 MLD.
Due to the expansion and development the demand of water will increase and corporation will not be able to suffice the same. As a result, the corporation had made RWH System mandatory for all new construction.
